Sleepwalkers (2009)
The photographs were taken in the morning rush hour at the Metro in Tokyo, Japan. The project focuses on our everyday life in the urban community. How mass of people are transported around to work every day at the same time and how this creates a distance to each individual . This alienation creates problems in large urban communities . People are thrown out in solitude and anonymity. Using photography I capture individuals who otherwise disappear in the stream of all travelers.
